You ever have anyone ask you, how do I determine God's will for my life?

That's a big question.

Or what about your faith?

How does your faith tie in to God's will?

What about a failure of faith?

Like you're trying to live up to what you think God wants you to do and all of a sudden

right out in the middle of nowhere, you discover that you're failing.

You have fallen on your face.

What about that?

Well, I'm going to do a series of studies on faith and the will of God, and this is in answer to a request that I've had.

And we're going to base it on the book of Ephesians, which has a lot to say about that

subject. Before I begin, this is from the Associated Press. And you know the Associated Press,

good solid Christian organization. Well, from the wires of the AP, everything is seemingly spinning out of control.

It says here, Midwestern levees are bursting, polar bears are adrift, gas prices are skyrocketing, home values are abysmal airfares, college tuition, and health care, border on the unaffordable wars without end rage in Iraq, Afghanistan,

and against terrorism. Horatio Alger, twist in your grave. You know, that's kind of an opening.

The Associated Press notes that everything is gone haywire. In fact, it refers to a world gone

haywire. Is it global warming?

Hmm. That's making food get scarce? Or is it because we're turning our corn into ethanol

...
