What we're doing in this study is attempting to recognize a pattern that runs throughout

Scripture.

Last week we looked at Revelation chapter 6, and in Revelation chapter 6 you have the opening

of the first six seals. And remember what the seals are. They are the seals on an indictment against planet

earth. And when the Lord opens those seals, he's acting as the judge. He's acting in judgment.

The first seals bring forth the four horsemen of the apocalypse and the Antichrist. Last week, we spent quite a bit of time talking about the fact that as he first rides forth,

he's the prince. He's not the king.

But then as you see his later development, the book of Daniel, which we also looked at,

Daniel chapter 11, he's called the king as he rises to power. So there are stages

in the development of the Antichrist, which we're going to look at. The church is going to be

taken out at a certain point prior to what we read that is commonly known in the Old Testament

as the latter days. We're going to study that term to a degree.

Revelation chapter 6, first seal, and I saw when the lamb opened one of the seals, and I heard

as it were the noise of thunder, one of the four beasts saying, come and see, and I saw, and behold,

a white horse, and he that sat upon him had a bow crown was given unto him and he went

forth conquering and to conquer that crown is in the Greek Stephanos not diada but it's a crown of a victor

it's the crown traditionally reserved for an athletic victor or in the case of the Caesars the

Caesars wore the little Stephanos crown.
