I want to start off by reading to you two portions of scripture.

The first is found in the book of 1st Corinthians, the second chapter, verses 12 through 16. Now, I would love for you to write that

down. So if you're taking notes, go on ahead and write that down. First Corinthians 2 versus 12

through 16. If you're not taking notes, write that down. First Corinthians 2 versus 12 to 16. And then we're going to skip on over

to 2 Timothy chapter 2 verse 15. So let's read through these scriptures and then we'll jump right in.

1 Corinthians 2 says this, starting at verse 12. What we have received is not the spirit of the world,

but the spirit who is from God, so that we may

understand what God has freely given us. This is what we speak, not in words taught by human

wisdom, but in words taught by the spirit explaining spiritual realities with spirit taught words.

The person without the spirit does not accept the things that come from the

spirit of God, but considers them foolishness and cannot understand them because they

are discerned only through the spirit.

So in other words, it's not their fault.

Verse 15 says, though, the person with the spirit makes judgments about all things.

But such a person is not subject to merely human judgments.

For who is known the mind of the Lord, so is to instruct him.

But we have the mind of Christ.

Come on, that's good news right there. But we have the mind of Christ. Come on, that's good news right there, but we have the mind of Christ.

Skipping on over to 2 Timothy chapter 2, verse 15. I'm going to read from the King James Version,

so you know it's real, okay? Old school right here. Study to show thyself approved unto God. A workman that needeth not to be ashamed
