Welcome to the State of the Race. It is Monday January 8th. We are only seven days away from the Iowa

Caucasus. It's crunch time boys and girls only 15 days away from the New Hampshire primary and

302 days until the general election.

Absentee voting has already started in some states.

We've got a lot going on and we look, it's an interesting time to do this because frankly we're talking about the primary and we don't even know how long we'll even have a primary.

I mean, is this a competitive primary

or is it some blowout we shouldn't even

be paying attention to?

It's hard to know.
