In particular, I would like to welcome and recognize this evening, Ms. Susanna Lacks Adler, who is the board chair of the Jewish Federation of Greater Philadelphia, so I want to welcome Susanna.

But it's an honor to have you here with us this evening.

Just this past week, we had the opportunity to read Parshadva ERA.

And in this section of the Torah we read of the four languages of redemption, the Arbal, the Shewnote She'll Ghiulah.

And it's fascinating. We know that the rabbis place great stock in this notion, these four

formulations. The Hotsaiti, behit Salti, the ga'alti, velakachti, four different Hebrew

terms that attempt to capture the nature, the depth of the relationship between God and the Jewish people on the journey toward redemption.

And the rabbis went even further.

Suggested the rabbis that these four formulations are nothing less than the basis for the four cups of wine
