And, oh, man, so much stuff is happening you know i i i don't know

if you guys heard you know the employment market is really tough these days uh all around but not

just for employees it turns out uh that it is tough for some employers as well, especially the intelligence agencies in Britain and Australia, who for the life of them cannot seem to hire enough spies.

Would you say it's hard out here for a pimp, Ben?

I'd say it's hard out here for a spook.

Spook being, of course, old school tradecraft slang for people active in espionage and some way.

Oh, you know what, Ben, one of the podcasts I really like of The Watch, they just did an episode asking the question, are we in a new golden age of spy shows?

And I think you and I would both probably argue yes being

fans of uh slow horses and i've been watching this show this uh taylor sheridan show lioness

which is absolutely fantastic and there's another one called i think the agency or something like that

with um oh gosh what's the guy's name uh gary oldman no gary oldman it could always be it could

you never know really good michael fastbender there's a new another new spy series with him in it but

uh for me lioness and slow horses absolutely incredible so yeah it may be hard out there i r l for a spy

but they're really getting a lot of love in the fictional world.
