I've only had one experience like that, and we were on a little puddle jumper, and we're flying to see my wife's family. And I knew it was turbulent. I did not think it was as bad as apparently it was. My wife is pregnant, so she's just trying not to spew everywhere, right? She's like, this has got to stop. And it's, what, three seats across, I guess, two and a one. And there's a dude sitting across from me in the aisle. And like I said, I knew it was a little choppy.

Again, I did not realize how knew it was a little choppy.

Again, I did not realize how bad it was until after we landed. But the flight attendant, like you're saying, you know, they're up by the cockpit, and it's one flight attendant, and it's his Asian dude. And I just always remember, he'd been pretty cool for most of the flight. The turbulence is hitting. it won't stop.

But again,

I'm underreacting.

I'm just like,

yeah,

whatever.

And then I see the dude,

he harnesses himself in cool for most of the flight. The turbulence is hitting. It won't stop. But again, I'm underreacting.

0:37.9

I'm just like, ah, whatever. And then I see the dude, he harnesses himself in, which, by the way, you notice they have a harness. We just have belts. Just side note. Anyway, he harnesses in. And then he closes his eyes. I see him cross himself. And then his mouth is moving back and forth, and it occurs to me, this dude

is saying a freaking prayer. Like,

the flight attendant is communicating that we're about to die. So then I make eyes with the guy sitting across from me. And he'd also been equally as calm as I was. And when we saw that, like we didn't say words, but I look at this guy, he looks at me. We both look at the flight attendant. We look at each other again. And it's just like, this might be it. Because this guy is that, but when we landed, again, everyone was real happy to get off the plane. But my father-in-law, he was straight up. I didn't realize that we've been circling the airport. I thought we're still on the straight line. And he's like, I honestly thought you guys are going to drop out of the sky and die. I'm like, what? And he goes, man, you're playing from the ground view. The wings were going 180 degrees, like back and forth. I'm like, for real? He's like, you didn't notice that? And I'm like, man, like, I knew it was turbulent, but for whatever reason, and I'm glad I did not. But I didn't register how severe this was. He's like, yeah, even the people in

the airport clapped on your plane. Dennis, I'm a horrible, I'm a horrible relationship. So let me predicate it with that before I tell you this. But I feel like it's like retirement. You know, when two people retire and they're at home all the time, they used to work every day. They didn't see each other every day. By a week, week and a half, that dude's now a greater at Walmart. He's like,

2:00.9

I got to get out. Absolutely. I got to get out of here for like two or three days. And so does

a woman. Like, get the hell out of it. Please, just go. That's my philosophy on airplanes. You're going to be someplace with your significant other for a week. You typically do not spend every waking hour of your life with this person. You get a little break in between.

2:18.2

It's called a job.

2:19.0

Yeah.

2:20.2

My feeling is on an aircraft, you get your seat.

2:25.4

I'll get mine.

2:26.3

I hope you sit by the hottest dude you've ever seen in your life and you leave me.

I don't care.
