I'm Vandy Fair, senior writer Joanna Robinson.

And I'm Vanity Fair, Chief Critic Richard Lawson.

We are kicking off this new year with a new show. We are going to geekier realms that we've ever

gone before. We are covering Wanda Vision, the new Disney Plus show that picks up two characters from the

MCU and plunks them in sort of a sitcom TV Wonderland. We picked this show

for a couple of reasons but one of the reasons why is I thought that there was real potential for us to talk about it as a TV show and then also talk about it in sort of a geekier comic book kind of way.

So basically not to use too much of like a cutsy, Avengers assemble, you know, logic, but we have assembled here for you on this podcast.

A crack team.

We're doing a podcast about a TV show about TV shows.

Amazing.

We're going pretty deep.

What could be better?

So how the structure is going to be a little different from still watching episodes in the past. Basically Richard and I are going to talk for the first

half of the episode about the episode Richard's impressions. Richard has not done like the

deep dive comic book research, nor does anyone have to, I think, in order to enjoy this show.

And so we're just going to talk about the show as a show.

If Richard has some questions and I feel like I can answer them for him, that's great.

Not whatever. In the middle of the show, there will be an interview with someone.

This week we have none other than Marvel Studios CEO, Kevin Fyke.

So, you know, I'm dusting off my shoulders for that interview.
