Hey everybody welcome back to the football guys dot com daily update give us ten minutes we'll give you everything you need to know to make you the most informed fantasy football player in your league.

I'm Mike Dempsey and I'm joined here with football guys own Bob Harris.

Bob it is opening week of the NFL season so every piece of news is ultra critical right now.

Right. Everything we've been working for, all the drafts we've been doing,

especially the ones this week, or the ones maybe you still have to do the matter most,

are all coming down to bear on you as we get ready for the first a week of action.

Yes, as I sit down here, I finished a draft three minutes ago.

So I think that's where we all are this week.

So let's jump into the news that you can use.

Obviously the big news of the weekend

Ricky Pierce all got shot but the update today he went on the reserve non football

injury list which means he'll miss the minimum of four weeks Bob and the good news is that you know as much as there can be in an

incident like this is no surgery necessary it was through and through bullet wound

and hopefully Ricky Pearson will be able to help the Niners at some point this year.

Yeah, we'll see if that four weeks is optimistic. I would expect them back anytime soon and if he makes

it back more power to him in the meantime the pieces that, Brandon Iook in particular, are all in place.

So this past attack should be just fine.

All right, getting on to guys that we hope we can use in our starting lineups this week in fantasy.

Jamar Chase continues to miss practice, Bob,

and Jeremy Fowler at ESPano says that an extension is not imminent,

but they are apparently trying to work behind the scenes to get something done.
