Catherine Butler was an ER trauma surgeon. She remembers telling her supervisor she

decided to stay home with her children. It was about walking faithfully with the

Lord where I felt he was calling me, not where he calls all women

but for where he was calling me specifically.

And so I told him that and I said I think for me to honor the Lord in the way I think I'm

being called to, I need to leave.

Catherine Butler was a trauma surgeon at Mass General Hospital in Boston

But there came a point when Catherine was sensing the Lord calling her to step up to a different

and in some ways more challenging calling.
