Steve Stenstrom is a former NFL quarterback who played six seasons with the Chicago Bears, San Francisco 49ers, Detroit Lions and Denver Broncos. In college, Stenstrom was a standout quarterback for Stanford under coaches Denny Green and Bill Walsh. He still holds numerous Stanford passing records, including career passing yards (10,911) and career completions (866).
After his playing career ended in 2001, Stenstrom went into sports ministry at Stanford, and is currently the president of Pro Athletes Outreach and Sports Spectrum. In November 2023, Stenstrom released his first book, "The 330 Life: Living by design not by default."
