Hello everybody this is producer Casey popping in your earbuds right now ahead of this episode

I just wanted to talk to you briefly about something that's going on with this show and it has to do with our name. You know this

podcast has always tried to highlight marginalized voices in the film

industry. We've always tried to give a new perspective on film

criticism and doing so we've really tried to be a positive beacon for people in

you know scary dark times which is why we are announcing that we are no longer going to be named

who shot you. The reason for this, well, it basically comes down to the fact that we do not want our show to be misconstrued as making light of gun violence in any way whatsoever.

In, you know, this was something that was already in the works.

We were working, we've been talking about this for months and we were planning on moving on to a new name in the beginning of June and you know out of a multitude of possible breaking points over the last year

this last week just broke us and we just felt like we could no longer be named

who shot you anymore. We're sorry that we don't have another name right now, but we will be looking

for your help in renaming the show very soon. In the meantime, we will be named the Untitled Ifffi, Dre, and Alonzo project.
