Why do I say this is a very special edition of the Sunday Sit Down Podcast?

Well because it is, and I think you'll agree that when you put Steve Martin and Martin

short in the same place, a pair of comedy icons, man, is that special.

I'm not going to waste your time with a big long wind up here.

You know these two.

You know they've worked together dating back to the three amigos where they were two

of the three along with the great Chevy Chase.

They first met when Martin short stopped by Steve Martin's house to pick up a copy of

the script of three amigos and the first words out of his mouth were insult.

A friendship and a comedy partnership were born right then and there.

They did the father, the bride movies together.

You remember that?

We've done road shows together which they continue to do this fall and now they're out with

a series for Hulu called Only Murders in the Building.

Quick back story you don't need much because Steve is about to fill in but it takes place

in a New York City apartment building.

They live separately.

The third person on the show is a young woman played by Selena Gomez.

How about that casting?
