0:37.9	by a federal court to a federal prison on July 1st, three weeks from now.
0:42.2	Bannon had been out on bail pending appeal of his 2022 conviction on charges of refusing to comply
0:48.7	with a congressional subpoena that ordered him to testify about the events of January 6.
0:53.5	He had a variety of legal arguments as to why he was not required to do that.
0:57.1	Bannon was sentenced to four months in prison by a court that rejected those defenses.
1:01.4	He was allowed to be out on bail pending appeal. The
1:03.7	appellate court rejected his appeal and now the judge has ordered him to
1:07.9	surrender to prison even though he has more appeals left. In addition to
1:12.0	President Trump himself who was just convicted of
1:14.4	34 felonies on obviously dubious and no pun intended trumped up charges,
1:19.7	Bannon is not the top that first top Trump aid to be jailed for alleged
1:24.9	violations of a congressional subpoena. In March of this year Peter Navarro
1:28.9	President Trump's Trade Advisor reported to a federal prison to serve a four month sentence on similar
1:34.7	charges.
1:36.3	And of course a large group of Kate Trump White House officials and other allies, including
1:41.0	General Michael Flynn, Paul Manafort,
