We're going to get started with the National Basketball Association, or as they say, the association, where I want to talk about a few teams that made moves before the trading deadline and their chances of making a deep run in the playoffs.

We'll start with the Lakers who snapped a nine game losing streak to the Denver Nuggets on Saturday beating them on 23 to 100.

Luca Donchich dropped 32 points on the Nuggets home floor putting up his best game by far as a Laker.

And on top of that, Los Angeles never trailed winning in Denver for the first time since

April of 2022.

In case you forgot, the Lakers had lost 13 of their previous 14 games against the Nuggets,

so let's not forget that.
