June 11th, 1986 started out as a typical morning for the snow family who lived in Auburn, Washington.

Auburn is a small town nestled between the cities of Seattle and Tacoma, just west of the

Cascade Mountains.

Forty-year-old Sue Snow was a bank manager and she was getting ready for a day at work while

her 15-year-old daughter, Haley, was getting ready for school.
