This week we're talking with Amber Klein from Charlotte, North Carolina, and she's going to talk to us

about her passion for promoting the Spartan mission.

Hey Spartans, this is Kevin Gilotti, and welcome to the Spartan athlete.

Plain and simply, you're like one of the most vocal,

not voice-wise, but just proponents and ambassadors

for the OCR and specifically for Spartan.

Talk to me a little bit about why you care so much, why it's so important to you,

why do you find the desire to want to promote this? I truly believe in

the mission that Spartan is doing and it is about making people understand or

helping them realize that you can do anything you put your mind to and

Getting people off the couch helping them get motivated to into a healthier lifestyle

However that may be.

You know, it may take some people a year, it may take them a couple of years, it might take

them a month.

You got to believe in yourself, and this community here, you know, I speak very much for Spartan is huge and supporting each other.

And that to me is just so rewarding.

And you race.

I do, I do. And you race with your race. I do.

And you race with your husband.

We do in some of the heats, yes.

He's now a fond of the longer ones, so we do the longer ones together.

Tell me just a little bit about like some of the things you like to do for training for these types of events.
