0:06.5	Hour. Today, we're going to be talking about Ron Rivera, his time with the
0:09.8	Panthers and whether or not I think he's a good fit with Wash, which I'm going for.

0:18.6	Everybody who knows me knows that I'm a pretty big Panthers fan so I have strong
0:31.8	feelings about Ron Rivera and I do think overall he's a good coach. He's one of
0:37.1	those guys who it seems like everybody likes to play for and that might not
0:41.3	seem like it's important but what he does for a team's culture matters a lot.
0:45.9	When he was with the Panthers, it always felt like even if they weren't great,
0:50.4	it was a fun team to root for and that they liked playing for the team.
0:54.9	Ron Rivera's main deal is creating culture with a team and Panthers
1:00.1	definitely felt like a unit that played well together during his time with the
1:05.8	Panthers. Even when the team wasn't fantastic because they were a little bit
1:09.7	up and down during Ron Rivera's tenure. It felt like they played as a unit and it
1:14.5	felt like they had an identity as a team. He's also a risk taker in the best
1:18.8	possible way. When it comes to going forward on fourth down and whether or not
1:23.3	you should plant a lot of coaches are too conservative but Ron Rivera picked up
1:27.3	the name Riverboat Ron for a reason. There's sometimes where it's good to be a
1:31.8	little bit more conservative but sometimes it was the right call to just
1:34.9	trusting your guys and I've always felt like Ron Rivera did a good job of
1:37.9	knowing when to trust his guys. That's not to say that Ron is a perfect coach
