Who's from London. The British government, the United Kingdom has urged its citizens to leave Lebanon.

This is something that we've seen before but I have at the possibility

now of learning how to interpret it because Mary Kistle joins my colleague Executive Vice President Stevens Incorporated.

However, she was senior advisor to the Secretary of State

where decisions about urging citizens to leave countries

that are under the pall of war are routine and yet I've never

asked what does it mean what happens what are the what are the restrictions what

are the opportunities how long do you have?

Mary, a very good evening to you. The United Kingdom, meaning Sir Kerr-Stormer and the government,

the professional government, have urged their citizenry to leave Lebanon. Why? Because of the

deliberate murder of Israeli citizens children by a rocket attack in these

last hours, another death within the next hours of a man in a

caboose in the north, and the general understanding that Hezbollah has lost control of its own troops and is firing

randomly with drones and missiles into Israel must be solved.

The expectation in major capitals, Washington and London, and across the European Union,

is that we're on the edge of war not unlike February of 2022 when citizens were urged to leave Ukraine.

The U.S. has not moved towards citizens to leave, but it sees that Britain has.
