on having the highest freedom index rating of any Indiana lawmaker this year. What exactly does that mean?

Thank you. So, you know, it's a rating based on how you vote. It's a cumulative score over time based on

different bills that come up and how you approach it. Really focused on constitutional values,

you know, basic freedom, your individual liberties, whether or not you're voting consistent with the U.S. Constitution. And, you know, that's something I really pride myself in. I think it's something that's really important. And one of the things I ran on for the beginning, so I'm happy to see that the score reflects exactly what I said I'd do. Yeah. Well, congratulations. Somebody tagged me on Twitter and they said, please ask him real questions.

Okay, first of all, before we get into the Voting Rights Act and how this affects Indiana and across the nation. I wanted to ask you because Governor Braun made an announcement November 3rd is when the special session will happen. Is that what you've been told?

That's right. I saw the tweet this morning. The governor, I think, is officially called a special session to convene on November the 3rd.

Whether or not we actually come in on the 3rd or maybe a couple days later, we'll see the logistics, I think, sometimes, are decided a little bit later.
