Well, it's not up to the men, but it's pretty darn close.

This is a transfer portal edition, a state of the transfer portal that is. And I bring in

the athletics prince of the portal, Max Olson, who is actually looking deep into the portal

as we record this podcast. And I will warn everybody, as I say this, this stuff changes

by the second. So we're recording this on Tuesday night.

There's a good chance when you hear this on Wednesday morning, some stuff may have changed,

but we're going to talk a little big picture, some of the stars, some of the intrigue. Max,

this is wild. My great fear when I go to bed, Andy, beyond all the usual

existential stuff, is we're doing this thing where we're ranking the 25 best available

players in the portal. I do worry that I'm going to wake up some morning and all 25 of them

have committed somewhere. And I just,

find a new 25, 25 new players. Because that's, that's how it's going. I think yesterday we

probably had five guys come off that list and you got to, you got to regroup and find some more.

And that it's, it's been, it's been a lot of fun to follow. Um, and you know, we've, we've talked about this before,

that the kind of having, I don't say this disparagingly because a lot of coaches do, but having

free agency in some way makes the offseason in this sport, while frustrating, I'm sure,

for a lot of fans. Very frustrating for coaches, of sure. And very frustrating for coaches.

It is wild to keep an eye on it and to try and kind of figure out who's going where

and how it's going to change the season next year in some way and who's building and who's

fallen.
