It's a Sunday night, programming note, excuse me.

I'm going to be headed in Knoxville on Monday, and we will be leaving out, flying out to San Diego.

You say, Steve, why would you fly to Knoxville?

Well, the schedule's pretty tight.

The initial plan was to fly back to Knoxville, then drive to Columbia.

But the wife's finishing up last couple shifts of her contract up there,

so we're just going to fly from there.

It's just easier, you know, instead of us both flying from two different places. Plus gives me an extra day, kind of hang with the wife. But, so yeah, I'm recording Sunday night. I needed about 24 hours to kind of process some of this. I'm not happy. I'm not going to sit here and have a pity party with you guys either, but I'm not happy. I know you're not happy. And so we're going to talk about that today. I'm not going to sit here and have a pity party with you guys either, but I'm not happy.

I know you're not happy. And so we're going to talk about that today. I'm not ready to give up either. But there are obviously some glaring issues with our football program. And he says, Steve, it's just one loss. So that's true. It is true. And it's silly that so many people have come out with the pitchforks after a loss we expected to have.

But it's not that so many people have come out with the pitchforks after a loss that we expected to have. But it's not that we lost. It's how we lost that has me upset. And I'm sure that's the case of many of you. Losing is part of competition. You never know. From one game to the next, you're going to win, you're going to lose. That's part of the joy of rooting for a program like Mississippi State.

It's also the misery sometimes of rooting for a program like Mississippi State.

But yeah, we didn't play well. And really in any aspect, I would say the offense worse than

a defense, but the defense had some glaring problems too.

The offense couldn't carry their side of the deal in the first half. I know the defense probably

wore down a little bit. Got a little mental tired, but the reality of it is, is a more talented

team came to Davis Wade Stadium and won going away. And it's the first time we've been really

embarrassed by OSU in a while.

I think that was one of the things we thought maybe we had graduated. I think some of our fans too had kind of diluted themselves a little bit because of how poorly LSU played in the second

half against Florida State. I would ask that you use that same level of judgment about your football team

you do about OSU.
