So I want to tell you a story.

Today I'm going to tell you about Geraldine Largay.

She was retired, but she was not living her life on the couch watching television.

She loved the outdoors and exploring nature was her favorite thing to do.

And in her mid-60s, Geraldine and a friend decided to hike the Appalachian Trail.

But that plan did not turn out as they expected it to.
