Hello, everybody. Welcome into another episode of the Fantasy Pro's football podcast. I am Ryan warmly joined this morning by Andrew Erickson and Derek Brown.

0:10.0

Fellas, we are talking some must start players here in week five starts.

0:18.0

A month into the season, it always goes quickly. Let's dive right in. Debra, we will start with you and we will start with the running backs.

0:25.0

Give me your three must start running backs in week five.

0:28.0

So I'm going to bring up a guy that a lot of people might not anticipate here. Tower of Algier. I think that he's very flexible this week.

0:37.0

We saw those first two weeks where he got 15 and a half touches. That could happen this week with Atlanta saying, look, okay, you're really good versus the past. We're not going to pass the ball.

0:47.0

I know Atlanta wants to run ball, but they could lean on be Jean, but also Tyler Algier this week in a matchup where Houston seventh highest explosive run rate only takes one big run from Tyler Algier to pay off. So viable flex worthy like him this week.

1:03.0

Aaron Jones, next guy got to bring up here. And this is assuming that like, okay, his practice reports are good. He's going to be a full go. I know that that games later in the week and we're still kind of waiting for that.

1:14.0

But I think that the efficiency metrics we've seen from Aaron Jones such a small sample size toss that in the trash can. He's still a good running back. This matchup is fantastic versus the Raiders who have allowed the 12th highest explosive run rate.

1:27.0

He's the highest missed tackle per attempt rate. As long as he's healthy, Aaron Jones going to have a day. And James Conner's the last guy got to bring up here.

1:36.0

We might not look at the Arizona Cardinals offense and say, wow, that's really sexy. Want to play all those dudes. But James Conner, we need to give him his flowers, playing really good football this year.

1:47.0

He's got 19 averaging almost 90 total yards per game. Tackle breaking metrics are through the roof. Cincinnati cannot stop running backs on the ground. Sixth worst explosive run rate allowed 14th and yards of the contact per attempt allowed.

2:02.0

I think James Conner, a lot of people going to rank him as an RB to this week. He's got RB one and high end RB one upside this week.

2:09.0

Yeah, Debra, you kind of anticipated it, but I was surprised with the Al's year, you know, inclusion here, given how the last couple of weeks have gone. The fact that B. John, it's not like they would want to take care of the way for B. John, because he's just been so good.

2:20.0

You're right about the matchup. So I'm just kind of curious like by the time we get to Sunday morning, how high do you expect to have Al's year in your ranks?

2:27.0

I've got him and Warren be going to have to tell me where consensus is that on him because I've got tower Al's year at RB 30 right now.

2:35.0

I don't know if that's a hot take. I don't know if it's not, but I might bump him up a little bit higher. I want to make sure I'm above consensus on him, but like in the same kind of breath. Are we playing Jamon Warren over tower Al's year?

2:47.0

Samaj P Ryan over tower Al's year. I'm not, but I don't know where ECR sits with that. So interestingly enough, you are actually below consensus by what? He's RB 29. That's in half the PR that's as of Thursday morning. He's RB 29.

3:02.0

All I heard was tower Al's year RB 25.

3:07.0

I mean, so yes, some of the people ahead of him in consensus, Najee Harris, Miles Sanders are not people you're like excited to start. So I think if you want to be bullish on on Al's year, it is bullish, right?

3:20.0

That's the good one. Bearish is the bad one. If you want to be bullish on Al's year, then I think it's reasonable to move them up to that.

3:26.0

You know, high end RB three range. Let's do some who should I start actually here. Now this tool is free to use at fantasy pros.com slash start.
