If you can only keep one, are you keeping George McIntyre or Faison Brandon not only to start this year, but for the seasons to come?

We're going to talk Lady Balls in segment number three. J.P. Estrella, Bishop Boswell,

have entered the NCAA transfer portal along with Clarence Mons, Masemba. So Tennessee loses

three to the portal on Monday. Again, it officially opens today, but announcing their intentions

of getting in the portal. Tennessee has now lost four altogether. How big a loss is JP? How big a loss is Bishop? We'll get into that here in segment number two. But first, your Melbaugh questions and some stuff, some good stuff, asking about Faison, Brandon, and George McIntyre. And that's where we're going to start right now. This is from Mr. Jones, a little Twitter Tuesday question.

If the quarterback battle between Phazon and GMAQ is close,

do you think we go with Phazon Brandon, number one,

as the risk reward of losing one of them and the upside for Brandon is higher?

And if George hasn't leveled up since time on task advantage,

maybe the task would be better performed by Faison Brandon.

Yeah, I mean, you know, again, I think that's, yeah, I mean, here's the thing.

There's a couple things you got away there.

Like, if they're even, if they're truly even and you don't know which one deserves to play, unfortunately, I think they'll both play. And that goes into the old adage that if you have two quarterbacks, you have none, right? And that's in my opinion. Now, it has worked before. 04. Eric Gange, Brent Schaefer, we've talked about this. It's worked before. Of course, I was in 04. I was in elementary school, so I don't

necessarily know what was going on to practice back then, right? But typically when you

have two quarterbacks, you have none. And so if you're even, does Josh Hypo like to play

both those guys? If you're sitting there and it's a situation where, I don't know, it's just so interesting

now too, because again, you want GMAC, say if you were just to go with Faison in that

situation, you want GMA to say locked in, dialed in, right?

Because there will be times where you might have to call on GMAC because Faison

Brandon is a true freshman. But to answer your question, yeah, I mean, I think if everything's even, I would go with Faison Brandon because I think he has the higher upside. Now, I think George McIntyre can be a fine quarterback. I do. But I think Faison Brandon's got a better arm. I think Phazon Brandon is physically more built to play quarterback in the SEC.
