| 0:15.1 | Hey, everybody. Welcome to another edition of the NFL fantasy football show. |
| 0:19.0 | It's being your man, M.G. Marcus Grand, joined by Michael F. Florio and Lequon Jones. In the thick of week eight, we're in the back half of the fantasies. Bipocalypse. Yeah. It's going to be wild because obviously it is Bimageddon. We got six teams on a buy. So add to that end, well, as we always do, but especially this week, right? We've got Florio's top starts and sits for week eight. We pick some of our favorite past catchers for Sunday night and Monday nights, plus we're getting spicy with our bold calls of the week. So let's just get right into it, right? Because you can find all of these written by Michael Liflorio on NFL.com slash start sit we will start as we always do |
| 0:56.6 | with the quarterback position who do you like this week who do you not like this week i included |
| 1:01.2 | the first two dac prescott and drake may because of their matchups i think they've kind of reached |
| 1:06.3 | a point where you know to start them weekly but people are concerned about the broncos and Browns matchups. I still think these guys are very much so in play. Jackson Dart, he went off against the Eagles two weeks ago. He goes off against whoever he plays that week because of what he does with his legs. A Bo Nix held in check for three quarters and then had the greatest quarter in fantasy history. I'm not sure if that's factual. It just feels like it is. And he gets the best matchup against the Cowboys. And then Daniel Jones, because the Titans do not generate pressure. And I think that are those are the weeks where you could really use Jones and then sits. Jordan Love has been all floor and not really much upside this year. It's looking like it's going to be Mack Jones for the 49ers, but I just don't want to play either of their QBs against the Texans who really look good against Seattle and have been a really tough matchup against QBs. Marcus Marriota has been in play because of his legs, but I don't like the matchup against the Chiefs. There's no way I want to do the Tua thing, and then Carson Wentz. |
| 2:03.6 | It is all bad in Miami, man. |
| 2:06.6 | Like, it seems like every time Tua steps to the microphone, |
| 2:09.6 | something bad happens or something weird comes out. |
| 2:13.6 | But, LaQuan, when you're looking at these quarterbacks, |
| 2:15.6 | these starts especially, any thoughts particularly on what you see there? Like, Caleb Williams, to me, looks like a layup matchup this week. Like, we know the teams that we can pick on, but I'm kind of side-eyeing them because last week was kind of uncomfortable. Less than five fantasy points. And I'm kind of looking at like who you guys playing the saints like I think |
| 2:34.9 | there's going to be a lot of up and down when it come to Kayla Williams but in the biopocalypse |
| 2:39.0 | I'm just hoping that my homie can hold me down because I really need this win this week in the |
| 2:43.9 | bipocalypse and I think honestly looking at Ben Johnson system we have to remember and kind of |
| 2:49.0 | take a step back that his first year as the offensive coordinator for the Lions, this offense had its up and down. It wasn't the Lions team that we know and love now. So I still have upside. I still have praise for Caleb Williams this season, but I'm kind of side-eyeing him this week. Like, you better get the job done this week. Yeah, I mean, I know the fantasy output was sort of disappointing with |
| 3:07.7 | Caleb this past week, but I also wonder how much of it has to do with the bears coming out |
| 3:12.7 | of the buy have been so good running the football. Um, you know, they went up 20 to nothing last |
| 3:19.5 | week, both rushing touchdowns. He didn't have to this week, Lamar is on the other side. He's probably going to have to throw a bit more. Yeah, I would think so. Any of the guys there on the sit side of things, Lequan, that they grabbed your attention? Guys, I see too. And I'm like, have we been looking at the fantasy streets these last couple of weeks? Like, I'm not sure anybody feels comfortable rostering to it right now. That includes the Miami Dolphins, but the circus is going to be going on and on as the season progresses. He says the lack of height is what he blamed on for not targeting J.N. Waddle. Like, come on, man. Like, I can't understand why even say that on camera. |
| 3:57.9 | Like, why even get in front of a Mike to say that? Like, you ain't the tallest guy out there, but you ain't the shortest. Like, my guy is Bryce Young, the shortest guy in the NFL right now as a starting quarterback. So what is the excuse for them? They're actually having a winning record where the dolphins are kind of bad right now. So I'm kind of getting away from all dolphins players outside the name of Devon A-chan moving on from the rest of the season. Yeah, that was that was kind of wild, right? I'm sure Bryce Young was sitting around being like, hey, don't, don't ask me any questions about this. Like, I'm good. I'm straight. I can find my guys. don't ask me about anything that's going on over there. Making the 6-1 quarterbacks look bad. |
| 4:34.4 | Like Bakers! good, I'm straight. I can find my guys. Don't ask me about anything that's going on over there. |
| 4:32.3 | Making the 6-1 quarterbacks look bad. Like Baker's 6-1, bro. He ain't complaining about no height thing. |
| 4:37.5 | He and the MVP talks right now. Like, come on, Tua. Get it together. too they need to turn the mic off sometimes man like this is like the third time in a month that he's had said something that he's got to come out and be like I probably shouldn't have said that like what's going on man like just you don't |
