You know, we get wrapped up in the gun control debate, the fight, the battle, Second Amendment.

It's all very important, it's all critical and we have to do all that.

And then we talk about self-defense and we talk about all that and that's all

interesting and important and for a lot of us it's a part of who we are.

And in the middle of it, one of the things I fear occasionally is that we forget

that for most of us, the reason we got involved with shooting is because it's fun. Shooting is fun. I've often called that our secret weapon in this whole deal. If you

take someone out and introduce them to shooting, they go, oh wow! I didn't realize it was that much fun.

And you go, well, you know, why do you think we've been doing this so much and for so long?

It is fun.

Recreational shooting, which comes in many, many different forms.

You know, handguns, rifle, shotguns,

shotguns, and you know, a dozen or more games in each one of those. And new ones come along all the time.

And one of the things that's really fun is when you it's fun to do it but then

when you can turn around and help somebody get involved a a friend, or if you really want to get serious about helping youngsters get involved.

And that's a whole different deal joining me to talk about that and a lot of other things.
