Yes, everything was overpriced, but you were paying for a comfortable place to sit either in midwinter or in the summertime, and you were protected from what you could say was the randomness of street life in major cities. What went wrong was they stopped policing their own establishment.

They took chairs away. The service got much worse. They were hiring people who didn't

attend to the customer as much. And at the same time, they got lazy. They got lazy about their

pricing. They got lazy about their coffee. And then they had to

start closing stores in major metropolitan areas because the facilities were overrun by clearly

people who were troubled. That was then. This is claiming to be now.
