Hello, everyone, and welcome back to the Star Wars stuff podcast where we talk everything Star Wars. My name is Matt and today we're going over the last week of Star Wars, including

the 40th anniversary of the Empire Strikes Back, the future of Star Wars, as well as all things

just been happening in the world.

And the first thing that I want to talk about, which has been on the conversation of our

entire team for the past several months, is, of course, Star Celebration, which this year is taking place in

Annan, California, right next to Disneyland. And as a team, we're going to attend Star Wars

celebration. And then due to unforeseen circumstances, due to the COVID-19 pandemic that has been sweeping the world, there have been a lot of talks of celebration being canceled, or postponed or something of that sort.

And it's put the entire team off a little bit because we all are really excited, but of course,

are always putting the safety of our listeners first.

It's just a difficult kind of conversation to have. And then we talk about the alternatives

to having a Star Wars celebration. What if we moved to locations? What if we only allowed

like a certain amount of people to enter a certain amount of time and or all the

contingencies that would take place for in order for Star Wars celebration to continue as planned

on the end of August.

Now, the date being said, a lot of things that are taking place now, obviously, have been canceled,

including every major sporting event and season has been canceled, all kinds of musical tours, and anything that involves large groups of people was just been canceled, like, all over the place.
