So there's a quickly a positive and a negative to look at this.

The positive is you can't possibly be this bad again if you're St. John's in another game this year.

Is that a positive?

Well, you did beat Yukon earlier in the year.

That is a clinic in how to not make shots and how to play bad basketball.

But here's the negative.

It also is a sign of what they are capable of being.

And losing in the round of 32 to John Calipari's Arkansas team, I'll be at a completely different

roster essentially for St. John's last year. This is the one and done format of college

basketball when you put it to the pressure of like what constitutes a failure for St. John's,

man, they are one

shooting night that doesn't even look half as bad as last night from being knocked out

next month in March. And that is the kind of team they are capable of being. That was a

Yukon team that was ready for them. But when shots don't fall and that shot, none of the

shots falling for St. John's. It's kind of like a generic take, but bear with me and be obvious, that was ugly basketball. Yeah. I can't have it happen. I think you have to chalk that one up as an anomaly because when you look at them in conference, they were 15 and 1 in the conference. Yeah. I mean, they'd be riding at a time the nation's longest win streak. 100%. Virginia has that. Virginia now has it, is what it's one of the top tier teams. And so you're right about this could be a harbinger of something horridous come NCAA tournament time or even Big East tournament time. Not that they have to worry about it because i think they're already in the tournament but it just ultimately scares the hell out of you but

this is one you ball up and completely throw away i don't even think you look at this tape maybe they

need it right you need a you need a wake-up call and so in some ways it's it's it's important in that

regard i think that's more the posit it's it's a wake-up call and And so in some ways, it's important in that regard. I think that's more the

positive. It's a wake-up call. But it is not who they are. And so you throw this one away.

Yukon's a good team, obviously. They're leading the Big East right now. So you just, you throw it away

and you say next time, we're not going to have that ever happen again, especially in the second half.

It would be hard for a high school team versus a college team to go out there and not make a shot for the final 17.
