Last week, we told you about how Jack Dorsey bid farewell to Twitter, one of two tech companies he founded and was actively leading. Now that Dorsey has more time on his hands,

his other massively successful company, Square, is making some changes. The digital payments

company announced earlier this month that it was changing its name to Block, signaling a new

priority for the company. Dorsey is a cryptocurrency and blockchain enthusiast. Block will be the

name of the parent company, while the Square brand will continue to be the payment processing

service for people and businesses. The company also owns the music streaming service title,

the payment service cash app, and a

Bitcoin developer platform. The announcement refers to the divisions as, quote,
