Thus, it's always sunny in Philadelphia, but I was here doing some leadership training for the Philadelphia police and had some good, good bar hopping last night in South Philly, which is, of course, you know, goes to the root of all of I talk about, which is my love of Dibars, like the VNN.

Wow. Well, we should talk about, we should devote a whole podcast to that.

We've got somebody who could talk about that on our podcast, one of our friends, Michael Weiss, an investigative journalist who's covered the wars in Syria and Ukraine as well as Russian espionage.

And disinformation, he is the editor for the insider and host of our own foreign office, which released a new episode today.

He's got a story that he did with a couple of colleagues a few days ago called Inside an infamous Russian spy units first bombing in NATO.

And it talks about how GRU unit 29155 in 2011 blew up an ammunition depot.

But it also talks about why that matters, because what they did afterwards, some of the poisoning and attacks they did, and where they have ended up in the Russian government.

It tells you a lot about the Russian government to do learn all this in a dive bar, Michael.

All the best things in life I've learned are in dive bars or on the phone with Mark talking about dive bars.

Yeah, no, this is a, how can I put this? I think what has become kind of apparent in the last few years with the piecing together of all of the operations perpetrated by unit 29155 from the Skripal assassination attempt in Salisbury in 2018 to the attempted poisoning of Bulgarian arms dealer twice.

In 2015 in Sofia and in his seaside country house to these mysterious bombings and acts of arson that have happened all across Bulgaria, but also in the Czech Republic or Czechia in the last 10 years.

29155 is sort of the Rosetta stone for understanding Putin's, I don't know what the term of art would be for this, maybe Mark can help with the lexicon.
