I'm joined the podcast today by the Athletics Charlie Eccleshire and also James Moore as well and we'll be discussing what I'm calling the worst ever international break for any Premier League team.

We'll get to that shortly as well as looking ahead to the game against Crystal Palace.

But first of all, there's a vote in the Athletic right now where they're doing the best of the best of the best.

And we're talking about who is the best of the best of the best. And we're talking about who is

the best goalkeeper in the Premier League. And Charlie, you've been presenting, I'm delighted to say,

the case for Hugo Lorris. Yeah, this comes off the back of Pisa did a couple of weeks ago when

he broke the Spurses' Premier League appearance record.

So maybe I'm a bit, have Larissa on my mind.

But yeah, I did make the case for Hugo.

I mean, look, Alison Edison are world-class keepers.

But Larissa's, you know, certainly for longevity.

You know, he's been at Spurs now nine years. There was a thing I put in that piece. He actually, looking at how many goals, Spurs would have been expected to concede on the expected goals model, no keeper had a better, how I put this, no keeper kept out more than would have been expected given the quality of shots they face thanurice last season. So he clearly remains an elite shot stopper.

But yeah, there are a few of these actually kind of making the case.

And I couldn't make the case for spurs having the best defence or midfield in the league.

Because they're all in Croatia.

Yeah, yeah, exactly.

They've got the best sort of bunch of players in Croatia, if that was a category.
