I'm Stuart Mandel joined, as always, by Bruce Feldman, what feels like the slowest week in a long time in college football.

0:28.5

Do you have anything, Bruce, to get us started here to energize the college football conversation?

0:35.6

I do, Stu.

0:36.4

I know that the Super Bowl has just

0:39.3

ended, but we got the FCS season, the spring season about to kick off this weekend, and I, for

0:46.3

one, am very excited. There's a good story in there. McNeese State in Louisiana has probably

0:53.1

endured more hardships than maybe any other

0:56.4

program, you know, even in light of the pandemic, because on top of the pandemic, they

1:02.0

endured two natural disasters. Hurricane Laura really devastated Lake Charles, Louisiana.

That's Dorian Dunn. They lost the best

2:03.9

defensive lineman to Syracuse, another player to Hawaii, another good player to Tulane. And it's

2:10.3

been a scramble. One other interesting note, the quarterback of the team is the son of Ed Ogeron,

2:16.9

Cody Ogeron, who started in 2019.

2:20.1

So they play Tarleton State.

2:21.9
