Are you ready to root for Mike fucking McCarthy?

Boy, is that guy a million dollar question for me?

You know, let's put a pin in him because that, like,

that puts me in a lot of Bears feelings that I think we should examine before the end.

But yeah, how does one assess Mike McCarthy is one of those perennial questions in football?

I think it's really illustrated, actually, of how challenging can be to assess and ascribe success in the NFL.

I agree.

We're going to save our Bears minute for the end here, especially given that I think we're going to have a lot of Bears news this week. It sounds like the Bears will know one way or the other where their coaching decision is going, but not by the time of this recording. So we'll check in on that. Probably closer. Coach Prime.

Honestly, like, anyway, you could do worse than McCarthy. I'm not going to do this. Anyway, we're going to talk about the other football games that have happened over the course the last couple of weeks.

Briefly, I think we're going to go around, touch on the losers from the wild card round, and then we'll get into our thoughts

on the divisional games that just wrapped up over the weekend.

Also, you know, I like football on Saturday, but it does mean there's no football on Monday.

Like, I know we're shifting as the games are shrinking and shrinking, and there are so many

reasons, Rob, that it is bad that football believes

it can just sort of collapse itself over the entire week.

But I am getting, I'm starting to get a little sad realizing that football is about to be over

and all the other Chicago sports teams are awful right now.
