Welcome to our special Ephesians 612.

That is the theme of today's special about spiritual warfare.

That scripture says, for we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness,

against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places.

If you don't know that we are in a battle for spiritual warfare, then you're losing.

That's it.

Those are your options.

Recognize we're in a battle of spiritual war

or else losing that battle.

You can't win the battle if you don't think you're in a battle

and if you don't know the enemy.

And if you think about every battle that we're in in America

as a country and if you think about every battle that we're in in America as a country,

and if you think about every battle in your life, it's not really that thing. It's not, it's not the thing that we think is the problem. It's all spiritual. And then we wonder why the problems don't get solved is because we're not fighting it. We're not fighting the root of it. Now, If this is all very woo-woo for you, right? It's all very like, uh, cuckoo, cuckoo. I get it. I get it. We'll try to make it more concrete for you in today's special. Whenever we do a special like this, I always think of me as when I wasn't a Christian. And I'm talking to me from like 15 years ago or something.

It's like, hey, atheist Slater, we're going to talk about spiritual warfare.

Like I ever thought I would do that 15 years ago?

No way.

So I'm also talking to old me when we do stories like this.
