Summary

What happens when you step onto the very site of one of America’s bloodiest conflicts—at the exact hour it occurred over a century and a half ago? In this riveting account, a history teacher visits Gettysburg’s Wheatfield under the moonlight, hoping for a quiet moment of reflection. Instead, he and his family experience an uncanny presence that leaves them breathless—complete with photos that suggest they weren’t alone in the tall summer grass.
