Hey, it's Tamar. You were probably expecting a brand new episode, and I promise you that there are several in the works, but I was too excited to go another week without filling you in on a new project that I've been working on for the past year.

So you, a podcast listener, with hundreds of thousands to choose from on a given day.

Might guess what a crazy world it's been for us hundreds of thousands of podcast producers.

I'll keep it short.

There are no rules. You want to know how to make a podcast? Well, you make a

podcast. You care deeply about something and you buy some editing software and

embarrass yourself a little bit with your radio voice, and then suddenly

you've got something that maybe people want to listen to, and then you hope that word of mouth

gets you more and more of those listeners.

There's a lot of trial by fire, and though there are so, so many of us out there, still, when

you're a one-woman band like myself, it gets a little lonely.

A little over a year ago, my podcaster buddy Wade Rausch, who is also a one-man

bander, met me for drinks and we bemoaned our loneliness together.

Wade's a tall guy with a gentle disposition, a voice like velvet, and enough experience with the solitary life of a print journalist to be the perfect drinking pal when it's time to get out of my own head.

And then it occurred to us.

Together, we weren't so lonely anymore.

And just maybe there's something to that.

And this is what I'm so excited to introduce to you today.
