So I've had an idea for a podcast just recently and I've been discussing it with Tim and we're going to do one episode about it just today.

So to start with we're going to discuss it, talk about the pros and cons, whether it's a good idea or not.

And then, because this idea is kind of an activity and a contest

we're going to actually play it out and see how it works so let's go.

All right this is good I'm excited about this. All right, so this idea I have dubbed Trash or Treasure and it's based on a term that what's pretty common in Australia called Trash and Treasure,

Trash and Treasure, which is a thing they used to hold like, they'd hold it in like big

car parks and things wouldn't they and they were big like

secondhand markets where everyone would set up stools and basically just

sell all their tat and stuff they didn't want anymore did you ever go to any trash

and treasure markets oh yeah no I lived at these things. We had in

our town we had garage sales actually and I know in America they're called

yard sales. Well this is like instead of having it at your house everyone gets

together and takes all their stuff to a big area and you wander through.

And I have to say I love these and I've been to many of them.

So in the UK they call them car boot sales because everybody takes their cars to like a sports oval or something like that

and opens the back of their car and your car boot basically and you put a table next to your car and

your car boot becomes the thing you're selling all of the

all of the items out of your trunk but here it's a boot so a car boot sale so everyone's got a

name for it in Australia trash and treasure is pretty, but my name's called Trash or Treasure.

And it doesn't involve Yard Sales, it doesn't involve Carboot Sales and things like that.
