Bruce, we have a special guest on this episode that his new Baylor coach Dave Miranda,

fresh off the LSU national title run and now starting up in his new job,

I think people will be really interested in that

before we get to it though you I think this is our first episode since

obviously the most tragic story in sports, Kobe Bryant's helicopter accident.

And I just wanted to bring it up because you are in LA and I think people who have been following this story,

even, you know, no matter how much you read,

no matter how much you watch,

I don't know that that really tells you how much how much he means to that city.

Yeah I think it I actually didn't really grasp the depths of it until you start talking to people here

The Lakers are by far the biggest deal especially thatlakers team in Los Angeles.

It's a star-driven market unlike any other place in the country.

There is, or there was for a long time and certainly for his run.

There was no NFL team here.

So it was Kobe.

And what I think you've seen a lot of on social media is how not just basketball players but how many athletes kind of pattern

their themselves and their mentality after Kobe's mamba mentality.

And another thing that I kind of realized over the last year or two here is that

his mamba academy in Southern California there's a tons of

athletes who go there and so there's that piece of it but after on Saturday
