By Rabbi Moskowitz, talk about the meaning and the beauty of that. Rabbi Brody, talk to us. How have been these last few weeks while we have been off?

1:31.0

You know, it's funny. I know you joke with me every year and you're like, you get back. He's going to be the best year ever. But let me tell you something, I've never had a better, more invigorating summer. I feel like a new man. I feel like this is going to be it. Major changes. Big things are coming. big changes okay exciting what is the source of that is it do you see people is it just getting out of dodge getting out of town is it davening elsewhere nobody

1:36.7

knows you do you read or listen to things or learn yeah definitely not reading definitely not reading

1:41.8

i'm listening i'm in the middle of that book right now what is it that changes you that gives you that mindset or that switch that you come back and you go from being burnt out. I'm tired. I'm out. I'm done. I'm done. I'm retired. This is going to be, how do you go from I'm done to this is going to be the best year ever? So I can tell you, I think we all have that inside of us.

2:19.5

you know, you speak between Milchamarv, all of a sudden, all of a sudden, something just clicks and I'm like, that, that's it. And then it just leads you down a path. And I think that the biggest challenge that we all have is that we're afraid to take that next step. And sometimes just do it.

It's not what you expect. And then all of a sudden, you're like in a different world. Right. I can't even tell you right now what's going on. I mean, it's crazy. I'm loving davening. It feels like more invigorating than I've ever felt. I'd say in the last 20 plus years. I've never felt closer in my davening.

2:35.0

I don't know.

2:50.9

And the Mexico you or you spoke about last night, you know, and I'm just trying to be myself. I'm just trying to fit into something, which I feel is comfortable.

2:54.0

I want to tell you, maybe this is an appropriate venue.

2:50.9

Maybe it's inappropriate to say, but I just want to tell you how proud I am. It's, you know, I've known you a long time. And of course, you're a legit rabbi and you've been one of our team. But, you know, when I took a break this summer, you really stepped in and stepped up. And whether giving Drusha's classes, playing a pastoral rabbinic role. And, you know, our community has always viewed you as the outreach rabbi. So kind of dress is cool, acts cool, laid back, more relatable, fun loving.
