Hello, hello, hello, hello, hello, it's Rob Schueter from the Nauty but Nice podcast, and we're here today to do a special bonus edition, our weekend edition of our show.

So as well as being a columnist, a reporter, a columnist, I'm also a best-selling author.

And today, our show is going to focus on that. Just for 10 minutes or so,

we're going to jump into a subject that I think we all need to talk about, think about much more

often, which is, who is the most important person in your life? Let me cut to the chase and give

you the answer. It's you. It's impossible to treat

anyone else like they are important until you believe that you are important. Only when

you value yourself, can you understand that your opinions actually do matter the most?

Nobody else is yours. Once you know how important your opinions are, you're going to be much

more careful sharing them with yourself and others. Start talking to yourself like you are the most

important person in your life because you are. I wish this was a gift I could give out,

all wrapped up in a beautiful red bow, handed out to people on their birthdays and holidays, but that is not

how this works. Believing that you are important has to start with you. Nobody else. I can't

give you this as a gift. I can't give it anybody else as a gift, but I can give it to myself and so can you.

And this actually is not such a bad thing because it puts the power into your hands rather than

anybody else's. You and only you can walk the long, lonely road to success. It is a lonely road

because you, my friends, have to do it just like me by yourself. Beyonce said the following,

quote, your self-worth is determined by you.

You don't have to depend on someone else telling you who you are.

Truth.
