I had the great privilege spending some time in Israel this summer,

Barha Shem celebrating several simchas, visiting the family,

and took advantage of the opportunity while there to meet with some truly extraordinary people.

You know, our rabbis encourage us that Godos shimusha Yosah Milimuda,

sometimes when you're exposed to when you meet

with when you were in the presence of great people, the simple what seems to be casual conversation,

question and answer, the opportunity to connect and to observe and to watch and to witness and to

experience and bask in their light can be greater even than their learning, greater than their

technical Torah teaching. And so I tried to take advantage. I do every trip, and this was no different

to meet with some extraordinary people. Some I met with who did not agree to be included in this

video series. And even each of the conversations in which we were privileged to be able to take a snippet,

Barach Hashem, we were blessed to have broader and longer conversations on a range of topics.
