Encino Murders case update: A stunning plea deal led to a 10-year prison sentence for man accused of the 2009 shooting deaths of two teenagers, Davion Bishop and Nekkita Hamilton, and the mother of Davion. In Season 2 of Felonious Florida, we investigated why the case against Kevin Pratt collapsed. Nekkita's mother, Camile Hamilton, survived the shooting after taking a bullet to her face β but spent the next 16 years devastated by her daughter's death and angry that gaps in her memory were exploited and helped lead to Pratt's relatively short sentence.
Until April 2025, when justice finally came calling again for Kevin Pratt.
