But what's the impact of this sort of warped reality

on self-worth?

The research shows it's significant, especially

for young girls.

And that's true, even when we all know these types of filters

exist.

But first, I'm talking with researcher Claire Pescott.

She's a senior lecturer at the University of South Wales.

Her research and expertise focused on how social media filters

influence children, even as young as 10 years old.
