Today is Saturday, December 19th, and today we're talking all about good news.

Yes, despite the many stressful stories and situations we've talked about or even experienced

this year, good news did happen in 2020, from people stepping up to help to the everyday good deeds that too often don't make the headlines

So we're happy to bring on my friend Brandon Harvey. He's the founder of good Good, a media company focused on the good in the world.

He's the host of the podcast Sounds Good, as well as the editor-in-chief of The Good newspaper,

a printed newspaper full of only Good News. He's built an online community of more

than 250,000 world changers and he and his company have been featured across

various news outlets from the New York Times to Mashable.

This will actually be the third year in a row.

We've brought Brandon on to help us look back

on the bright spots of the past year.

And in 2020, this seems more important than ever.

Oh, it is always such a treat. I'm so excited to be here. We love talking about good news with you. I first would just love to hear your thoughts on the impact of the pandemic. Maybe the extra importance of having a little good news in our lives when everything else feels so tough.
