Hi everyone, Rebecca here. I just wanted to pop in and share some important info for those of you who've been thinking about becoming an evidence-based birth instructor.

Every year here at EBB, we open up applications to the evidence-based birth instructor program for a limited time, and that window is coming up very soon.

So what does it mean to be an EBB instructor?

Once you're accepted into the program, you're trained and licensed to teach the official

EBB childbirth class to families, both in person or online, as well as teach EBB continuing

education workshops to birth workers like doulas, labor and delivery nurses, midwives, and more.

If you're a birth worker, becoming an EBB instructor

is a powerful way to use your voice and your skills to make a real difference in your community.

But becoming an instructor isn't just about teaching. You also become part of an incredible

supportive community of instructors who are passionate about evidence-based care. And these instructors are working

to bridge the evidence practice gap and improve maternity care in their communities. Our instructors

are from all around the world and they're doing amazing work. So are you eligible to apply? Well,

the program is for birth workers and health care workers with at least one year of experience in the

maternity care field.

You have to apply and be accepted into the program in order to train, and we only accept

applications once per year. So if you'd like to learn more or if you have any questions,
