And in about an hour, I'm going to go over to Lafayette's

gravesite. And when Lafayette was in command of American forces at Yorktown at the moment

that independence was won when the white flags went up over the British lines,

he exclaimed,

humanity has its victory.

Liberty has its country.

There you go.

And when American soldiers came to Paris in the First World War, they marched straight to that grave site, and their commander said in a speech to the assembled French, Lafayette, we are here.

Very good.

In the eyes of our alliances,

or something that's of profound importance,

these values we share.

And last night,

Trump's lies stopped cold

on our northern border

as the Canadian people

rebuked the insanity,

elected it tough as Nails, principled leader.
