That's so funny, Mochewanunu, because I've actually been text messaging with a few people.

And I'm like, do I have to start these texts with happy new year? And I've gotten a few text

messages that have started with happy new year. And it's like, I guess, I don't know, I guess

the first week feels like it's appropriate. Right, right. I feel like the first week's

appropriate. But people are learning me to the episode where he, you know, according Larry

in the show says, you only have three days until January 3rd. And then after that, you enough

with the happy new year. I'm done wishing people a happy new year. And so that's what we find

ourselves on this January 5th. We are deep into this year already. We are. And yet Moch still

no speaker of the house. So let's get to some of the headlines here. Maybe Kevin McCarthy

shouldn't have moved into the speaker's office just yet. He has now lost multiple votes to become

the next speaker of the house. We'll take a look at where things stand. The immigration crisis

takes aim at the Florida keys with an influx of Cuban migrants. For all the talk of a recession,

there are still more job openings in the United States than people who are looking for jobs.

So we'll break down some of the numbers. A preview of CES 2023 and some of the coolest gadgets

on display, like a lightweight flat screen TV that easily sticks to a wall. No wires needed.
