It is the spring of 2029, six years, the test by the North Koreans, DPRK, of an ICBM,

errors, and rather than falling short, well short, it triggers US missile defenses,

0:16.4

Nora. That leads to a contest between Washington and Pyongyang that escalates quickly,

0:24.1

with demands by Washington, Washington going to the UN, and North Korea's obstinacy.

Suddenly, US strategic forces are on alert. This is the predicate for a war game,

0:38.6

and Rysokolsky, the executive director of the Non-Troliferation Policy Education Center,

0:44.2

has conducted over these last months, revealing not about North Korea's ICBM capabilities,

0:51.4

but about low-Earth orbit, medium-Earth orbit, Geosyncras orbit, and what are the capabilities

of the satellites now launched or potential to be launched, and the space stations launched or

and that is that the United States and a lot of its space-faring allies are increasingly

1:50.4

turning to commercial space firms that launch systems that are enormous in the size of their

1:59.8

constellations in lower-Earth orbit to do and take on military missions that traditionally have

2:09.6

been conducted at Manelay's World War with orbit, and Geosyncras orbit, which is

2:19.1

very far out. The question is, if you rely more and more on systems that operate below Earth's orbit,

2:31.0

even if there are thousands of them, and there will be. And then actually there are in the case of

2:36.6

Starlink, which is Mr. Mus, the Ukrainian, using to get purpose when they are fighting against Russia.

2:47.8

If you rely entirely or too much on these things, what happens if they get knocked out?
